OC 3.0 i18n

Hi OC developers!
First of all, my contratulations for the OC 3.0 production release!
I have just downloaded it upgraded from 2.5.8 according to the procedure. Easy and fine.
My quyestion is about the i18n:
After reading this https://www.openclinica.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=publicwiki:i18n3.0
I expected to find the language files in the distribution package (in order to move those language files to the specified location) but all language directories are empty!
OC 3.0 is yet to be tranlated to other languages (like Spanish)?
PS: In case I can help translating into Spanish please let me know how to do it and how to deploy it and how to share it to the community.
thanks
Didac

    Hi Dídac
I'm no OC developer, but this information should help. The OC 3.0 beta3 release contains a some translations, Spanish too. (The German translation wasn't fully complete, so maybe the spanish one isn't too. Keep an eye on it.) You can download the necessary property files from the svn repository[1] and store it to your local installation (as described in the wiki).
For the spanish translation, download all files ending in *_es.properties.
    - admin_es.properties
    - audit_events_es.properties
    - exceptions_es.properties
    - format_es.properties
    - notes_es.properties
    - page_messages_es.properties
    - terms_es.properties
    - words_es.properties
    - workflow_es.properties
    Regards,
    Christian

  • Hi Didac and Christian,
Our apologies for the missing language files, they should have been a part of the downloadable zip or tar file from www.openclinica.org. I have instead placed a zip file with the different languages here:
    https://www.openclinica.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=publicwiki:i18n3.0
If anyone does make updates to the translations, please feel free to send me the files offline and I will place them back on the wiki page for others to use.
    Thanks,
    Paul
