[Developers] Issue with CRF creation

Hi Caesar,

Your mistake is in the Response_Type column in your eCRF you have defined it as radio – which enables selection of only one item.
In order to select multiple answers for a question you need to define this column as: multiselect or checkbox.

Good luck,

Hi All,

I am trying to create a CRF and my Excel looks as follows,

History of fever?

CLINICAL HISTORY
History of fever of more than 14 days?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Cough?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Difficulty in breathing?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Vomiting?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Diarrhoea?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Haemoglobinuria (red or cola coloured urine)?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Jaundice?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Fits in this illness?

CLINICAL HISTORY
Any fits lasting more than 30 minutes (including partial/focal fits)?

CLINICAL HISTORY

For each line i have an option list. On loading the form, it loads alright but on testing selection of each of the question, ONLY 1 option can be made on the entire section. Anyone has any idea what I have done wrong or need to look for? Thanks in advance for your input.

  • Hi Caesar,

Right after uploading it looks like you have only one option, but after building your study your CRF works just fine:

    Hi,

I am not sure I totally understood the question but if you meant to define different questions with different Response types – you could do that easily by defining the proper response type for each question independently.

Hope this helps, if not try to give me an example for what you will need.

    Regards,

    Liora

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for the quick reply. Now for each of my questions is to be displayed in the open tag. That means they are several questions(each with three options) where the user is supposed to select one. Could you suggest how I can implement this, please. Thanks in advance for your input.
