Display the value of a field of an event automaticallyin the form of another event.

Hello Liora and Fransisco,

To the best of my knowledge, this is not entirely correct.
It is possible to insert value into other CRF that are in the same Event, and the InsertAction Liora attached is a fine example of this.
But it is not possible to make InsertActions across different Events.
(On https://docs.openclinica.com/3.1/rules/creating-rules it is stated that “The Insert action is not supported across event definitions.”)
Kind regards,

Gerben Rienk

Hello Francisco,

Inserting an item from one event into another is possible.
This rule is called InsertAction rule, which is more specified in the following link:
https://docs.openclinica.com/3.1/rules/creating-rules#content-title-4604

Don’t give up easily rules may take a while to generate. But after the first few it becomes easier J.
I attached to this email an example for an InsertAction rule written in XML format.

Good-Luck!

Subject: [Users] Display the value of a field of an event automatically in the form of another event.

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to display the value of a field of an event (eg baseline) automatically in the form of another event (eg follow-up)?
Is there a way to reference the value between forms and events?
Thank you in advance,
Francisco Hernández
