Discrepancy notes and left item text

Hi,
We would like to be able to send sites a discrepancy note report.
Is there a way to add Left item text to the exported CSV file? (so it matches what data entry person would see during data entry)
Currently there is a column named 'Entity name' which is the ITEM_NAME of the CRF (field name).

Thanks,
Merav

  • Dear Merav,

You could try doing it with an Excel formula, and use vlookup (http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/excel-help/vlookup-HP005209335.aspx) to find the ITEM_NAME (and DESCRIPTION_LABEL) in your CRF spreadsheets that matches your Entity name.

You can either create a merged spreadsheet from all your CRF spreadsheets, or you may be able to write something that looks in different files based on the field ‘CRF name’.

This also sounds like a feature request for OpenClinica (though there may be issues with new line characters in DESCRIPTION_LABELs).

    Yours,

    Michael
