Insight makes it easy to ask questions of ALL of your clinical and operational data and visualize answers via interactive reports and dashboards. The idea is simple, but the results are powerful: ask your questions, choose your visualizations, then return often for updated, interactive results that link you to all of the underlying data.

Importing data with show/hide rule (and required hidden field)

I saw in the Importing Rules documentation that all required fields must be present in the import file. Curious.. if I have a required field that is hidden by default and only shows based on a show/hide rule. Do I need to provide those fields/values in the import file?

thanks!

Quite late but in case anyone else is looking for this (as I did), you just have to entirely omit these fields from the import file. Having them inside the file with an empty Value field will result in error. (openclinica will say that required field values are missing)

Why would you mark fields in an import file as required?? It does not sense!
