Insight makes it easy to ask questions of ALL of your clinical and operational data and visualize answers via interactive reports and dashboards. The idea is simple, but the results are powerful: ask your questions, choose your visualizations, then return often for updated, interactive results that link you to all of the underlying data.

Automatically close failed validation checks that have already been fixed

Hello everyone,

We still work with OpenClinica 3.1 and we have a question for some time, is there any way to automatically close failed validation checks that have already been fixed?

We have a clinical trial where the dimensions of queries failed validation checks already corrected but not closed is taking on some worrying dimensions and we would like to know if there is any way to save that part of the work that does not really add value to the review.

Thank you in advance,

Francisco.

    Hi Francisco

There is no such feature that allows you to auto-close failed validations checks. There are users which used Selenium-Webdriver to automate tasks in OC. It will be possible to manipulate the status using some SQL queries or you simply do it by hand. Please take into account that the validation effort might be huge for the first to methods especially if you want to prove that no discrepancy note was closed accidentally.
What is the estimated amount of effected notes?

    Dear Christian,

Thank you for your answer. To date we estimate there are about 900 affected notes.

    Francisco.

    Hi Francisco

That's quite a lot work but maybe easier to delete by hand than create a custom script and validate the result. If you have further questions feel free to ask.

    Christian
