How to simplify the log in string

Would it be possible to simplify the login string to OpenClinica from https://www.mywebpage.com:8443/OpenClinica
We would like to be able to just use something simple such as https://mywebpage.com

Best regards

    Hi Krister,
    I sometimes put an index.html in the webapps/ROOT folder of tomcat with this as content:

    <title>redirect</title>
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=https://www.mywebpage.com:8443/OpenClinica">
    </head>
    <body>
    you will be redirected to another location: if this doesn't happen automatically,
    please click <a href="https://www.mywebpage.com:8443/OpenClinica" target="_top">here</a>
    </body>
    </html>

    The command in the header redirects (after 0 seconds) to OpenClinica and if for whatever reason this fails the user can do it manually.
    Is this what you're looking for?

    Hi Gerben,
    Will this work without having to request a new SSL certificate?. Will it affect the setting of SERVER.XML? Do you access the "INDEX" simply by calling http://index.html ?

    Best regards

    Hi Krister,
    It depends on how you requested the certificate, but in most cases www.mywebpage.com and mywebpage.com can use the same certificate.
    And to what setting in server.xml are you referring?
    And you can access the file by putting it in tomcat/webapps/ROOT/index.html and you would use as url mywebpage.com/index.html or just mywebpage.com
    Kind regards,
