how to switch database openclinica to the database indifferent name

Wei,
It sounds like you went through the correct steps to change the
database. Keep in mind that you will need to change the database name
twice in the $CATALINA_HOME\conf\Catalina\localhost\OpenClinicaXYZ.xml
file and once in the
$CATALINA_HOME\webapps\OpenClinicaXYZ\properties\datainfo.properties
file.

Subject: [Users] how to switch database openclinica to the database
indifferent name
Hi,
The default database for OpenClinica is named as openclinica. If I want
to create another one with same structure as openclinica but with
different name, I can run the sqls in postgres to get it. After that, I
want OpenClinica web page opened against the new database. What I did is
that edit the OpenClinica.xml, datainfo.properties and restart tomcat.
But when I test it with new database, what web page I can see is still
pointing to the old database (openclinica). Could you tell me what is
wrong with it? What I can do to fix it?
Thanks for any help,
Wei
