OpenClinica 2.5-beta2

Since the beta1 release of OpenClinica 2.5, a lot of testing has occurred that has led to bugs and issues being resolved with the new features. We have also experienced a lot of our users installing the beta1 and providing valuable feedback.

Due to the feedback we have received, as well as the desire to see what people think about the current 2.5 development, we would like to ask people to now download OpenClinica 2.5-beta2 from http://svn.akazaresearch.com/OpenClinica-2.5-distros/. Beta2 will have all of the updates to the application as of July 24th which includes all fixes made since June 17th when the beta1 was released.

Again, we encourage and welcome any and all feedback you might have on the application as you try out beta2.

We will continue to test OpenClinica 2.5 to ensure a quality product, but as of this moment we are targeting August 15th for a production release date. If there are any changes to this date I will be sure to post to both of these lists.

If you run into any issues or questions while user OpenClinica 2.5-beta2, please do not hesitate to contact the users or developers list for assistance.

Thank you,

Paul

    Hi
I'm using OpenClinica-2.5beta1 currently ... do I need to recreate my
database with create_database_2.5_tables_with_data.sql? My database is
already populated with a mock study and I'd rather not blow it away.
In other words, have there been any changes to the database in this
    beta release?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
We are looking into creating an upgrade script from beta1 to beta2 and will let everyone know when we have one. There have been some database changes since beta1 came out.
    Thanks,

There will be one table missing if you run the previous SQL file to
upgrade from beta1 to beta2. After running the first one, please run
the attached script to make sure all the tables are there.
    Thanks,
    Paul
