If Then Statements in calculated fields

SPartners
In CRF design (excel worksheet) what is the syntax to create an If/Then statement (assuming these type of calculations are accepted in the CRF design).

For example:
(IF field1 is NULL THEN field2 = "0" ELSE field2 = "1")

Thanks,

Jeremy Gooch

    Hello Jeremy,

You can have a lookup and return value with having a calculated field using decode. Using the ITEM_NAME as the variable and RESPONSE_VALUES for lookup value; e.g.:

    func: decode(field1,NULL,0,1)

    I hope this is helpful.
