Missed Data from Dataset

Dear All,

I have created a dataset that is supposed to capture all data from a single CRF from 5 successive events, in a single site study with 2 Groups (please see attached Excel Data Export). Is there any explanation for why half of the data for subject 4 were not exported? Furthermore, why I am having the rows 6,7, and 8 that seems not to belong to any subject? What is the cause os such behaviour.

Thank you all for your help.

  • Hi Mohamed,
There could be a carriage return in one of the text or textarea fields which is causing the dataset to wrap too soon. You should review the data entered for the subjects to see if a carriage return exists.

    Thanks,
    Paul

  • Hi!
Is there any way to escape the carriage returns? It is very
complicated to handle data in textarea fields as people trend to use
carriage returns if they foreseen that the data is to long to fit in
on line of the textarea box. I think this should be handle
automatically by the export tool of OC.
    Thanks

  • Hi John,
I will log this in our issue tracking system so the capability can be added to the OC extract.
    Thanks,
    Paul
