Use new version of CRF in scheduled event

Hi!
Say I created at new version of a CRF. I have a subject who already has
data entered for that CRF in some Event. How do I delete those data so I
can re-type the information in the new version of the CRF?
Best regards,
Janus

  • Hi Janus,
As an administrator, you can go to the 'view subject record' page. Next
to the event CRF which has been entered, you should see a red 'delete'
icon. After selecting it and clicking OK, the data should be deleted and
you should see the option to select the new version.
    Best,
    Alicia

    Hi Alicia,
Thanks for your reply. You are absolutely correct, and I've deleted event
CRF's that way many times ... except this one :)
I'm thinking I did something that messed up the system:
    1) Uploaded the new CRF
    2) Changed the default CRF to the new version
    3) Removed the old version
    4) Tried to delete the CRF data, I couldn't (no red X)
    5) Removed the Event and restored it again
    6) Still couldn't delete CRF data
    7) Restored the old CRF
    8) Still couldn't delete CRF data
    9) Posted on the mailing list
    10) Entered data in the CRF and then I could delete it!
I was confused because the CRF in the Event was marked as Initial Data
Entry, so I concluded data existed, but couldn't be delete. When I started
entering data in 10), though, no fields were filled?
Oh, well, I works now, thanks alot for your reply!
    Best regards,
    Janus
