I would change the line to the one I sent you.
But the first thing you must do is to log into Tomcat Manager to verify that
OC is running. If not I would remove the OC installation and start from
scratch, it is usually much quicker. And please follow the manual to the
    letter.

    Hello Seth,

Something is wrong with your installation specifically the openclinica package installation
step as there is no filePath line in your data, properties file.

So, i suggest you repeat openclinica package installation step, remember to delete all file
that were created during that step after that start the process again JUST OPENCLINICA
    PACKAGE INSTALLATION STEP.

    Hi Seth,
You can also follow these instructions on how-to setup the tomcat manager
    users instead of re-installing tomcat.
    http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-6.0-doc/realm-howto.html#UserDatabaseRealm
    Thanks,

    Hi Seth,
This datainfo.properties is from 3.0.x. You must use the datainfo.properties that comes with 3.1 and configure it with the correct values. Simply taking the old datainfo.properties file from a previous version of OpenClinica and using it with 3.1 will not work.
    Thanks,
    Paul

Re: [Users] FW: INSTALLATION PROBLEMS Hi Seth,
I agree with Paul, I understand where your confusion is. I saw in a previous post you where told it was not the correct datainfo.properties file due to someone saying the filePath was not present (even though it was under the db section). I did reply to that post saying your datainfo.properties files where correct for 3.1 as that is the new structure. I know after there where other posts agreeing with the original poster. Paul and I work for OpenClinica and I can say your original datainfo.properties was absolutely the correct one for 3.1, the one below is only valid for 3.0.
    Thanks,
    Shaun

    Hi Seth,
Why is your db port set to 8080? That is the port postgres runs on which is
5432 by default. Also is your db named pilot or openclinica? If you followed
our instructions it should be openclinica. I would confirm your db settings
as they appear to be wrong. Also if you still experience an issue can you
please attach the logs? Including openclinica-*.log
    Thanks,
    Shaun
