Documentation on openclinica database in postgress

We want "massage" the openclinica trial data in postgres to produce our own off-line database in more tabular format for reporting and exporting.
Has anyone any experience of this or any documentation on structure of the oc data in postgres?

  • Dear Chris,
It sounds like you are trying to recreate Data Mart, an Enterprise-only edition feature (https://docs.openclinica.com/3.1/openclinica-user-guide/data-mart-openclinica-enterprise-edition-only).
    OpenClinica's schema/model is here: https://docs.openclinica.com/3.1/technical-documents/openclinica-3.1-database-model
There are extract/other tools you may be able to re-use here:
    https://wiki.openclinica.com/doku.php?id=publicwiki:otherprojects
I would have thought the options would be for the application to interact with web-services, an OpenClinica extract or the Postgres database (probably these are in order of increasing likelihood).
In my search, I spotted that someone called David Geller apparently did something like this (presumably closed-source): http://www.linkedin.com/pub/daniel-geller/57/62/945
    Yours,
    Michael
