Copying values from header

Hi,

Based on the discussion we recently had on the users mailinglist on how to copy values from the header to the CRF, there’s now a wiki page thanks to Gerben Rienk Visser: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/OpenClinica_User_Manual/VarsFromHeader

Comments and suggestions are, as always, welcome.

Cheers,
Sander

  • Thanks very much Sander and Gerben,

I added some suggestions to the discussions page for the article; they work in jsfiddle but I haven’t yet tested them in a CRF.

    In short:
    - Some code to reformat the DOB and/or Event Date to OpenClinca’s format dd-MMM-yyyy
    - A line of code to grab the last character of Person ID, if you wanted to use it to kludge some Study Arm logic into a CRF, e.g. get the ‘A’ from a person ID like “HPS103A” so you could show questions relevant to Arm A only.
