Extract failure

When I use the ”Extract data” function I get the following alert:

The extract data job failed with the message:
For input string: “1,5”
More information may be available in the log files.

The number in the input string changes and I get the message regardless of the format of the extract.

Is there any obvious explanation for this failure and where in the log files will I be able to find more information ?

Thank you in advance

Kind regards,
Henrik

    Dear Henrik and André,
Could it be that your java is not set to US notation?
For windows, see attached screenshot, for Linux, have "-Duser.language=en
    -Duser.country=US" in your JAVA_OPTS.
    Hope this helps,

    Dear all,
we had the same problem. It turned out that the reason for the error was the language setting of our linux operating system (which was set to German). After setting it to English, everything worked fine.
This error may be related to the decimal "point" which is a "comma" in German, but a "point" in English; leading to misinterpretation by the JAVA environment (sorry to all IT specialists, this is my naive assumption).
    Kind regards
    Wolf
