single select in open clinica

Dear Users
Greetings
Using Single Select, my responses are No,Yes
By default it populates No.
How do I do, that it populates like -Select-, and when user clicks on drop down, Either No or Yes can be chosen.

Thanks and Regards

  • Hi Manoj,
Use the column "DEFAULVALUE", and enter "Select"
Also, by default if you want populate the single select field as blank, you can define your "RESPONSE_OPTIONS_TEXT" as ,No,Yes, with (instead of No,Yes)

  • If you set an additional label to be or Please Select which ever you prefer and make and addition option value for it as null.

For example your select options would be ,No,Yes with Values of ,0,1 noting the comma before the 0

    Good morning Manoj,
    In your Response_values_or_Calculations add Yes,No
and delete Default_value or add (Please Select) .
