Insight makes it easy to ask questions of ALL of your clinical and operational data and visualize answers via interactive reports and dashboards. The idea is simple, but the results are powerful: ask your questions, choose your visualizations, then return often for updated, interactive results that link you to all of the underlying data.

Multiple "Study" nodes in extracted CDISC ODM

Is it something that is normal and if so, what causes openclinica to output multiple study nodes.

It is normal. If you have a multi-centre study then you will have Study node for each partner site. Even if it is mono-centre study and within a parent study you define exactly one site. Then the exported will be metadata for parent study and metadata for one site (2 nodes as the example that you had posted).

This is important e.g. if you wish to import data using WEB services. Then you have keep the different sites in a multicenter study apart which menas that the Study OID will be different depending on which site included a certain patient. The Study OID cannot be the same for the various sites. They we usually do it we name the parent study MYSTUDY and each of the individual sites we ad a number so it will look like MYSTUDY1, MYSTUDY2, MYSTUDY3 and so on so you will always know which site included a specific patient as it will always be associated with the number of the site that included the patient.
