A couple community OC installation questions

Hello,
With the release of OC 3.1.4, we are just about ready to deploy the community edition of OC on Windows Server 2008 (thanks to those who gave feedback on that idea!).
What we would ideally like to do is have an instance in our DMZ and an internal instance, with both using the same postgresql on the inside. Does anyone have any thoughts on things that we should make sure we do for such a scenario? Also, would you expect that the only ports we would need to open between the DMZ instance and the inside postgresql would be whatever the standard postgresql ports are?
Thanks once again for your thoughts!
