a question on the end tag error

Dear all,
I have a question: I made a CRF (see attached xls file and also the related XML file), it looked perfect to me; but when I extracted data into XML, I kept getting an error message: end tag must not have ‘MetaDataVersion’. I could not figure out what was wrong. I did the same things for other forms and other forms did not have this problem.

Any one has the same experience? Any clue? Your answer will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Minya

And the difference is that Emeric has inserted a bunch of missing tags. The main question remains, though: Why did this situation not apply to all of Minyas XML extracts?
    Best regards,

    Hello Minya,
I have no answer but a question:
In your ODM-file the section BasicDefinitions is missing, between
GlobalVariables and MetaDataVersion. Normally the MeasurementUnit OIDs are
    declared here.
In your output the unexpected end-tags are after items with "units": could
    there be a relation?
Could you have a look at your Progres-tabel measurement_unit and check if
the units you use (hour and minutes) are there?
And were the data by any change upgraded from 2.5 to 3.0? The CRF is
    originally 2.5
I hope this may help a bit,

    Gerben,
Thanks for the great question. After a couple of days of struggling, my
eyes were suddenly opened: the problem was caused by the fact that I
specified units but left both LEFT_ITEM_TEXT and RIGHT_ITEM_TEXT blank,
which did not make sense to the software.
The newest version (v3.0.4) seems to have solved this problem. We are using
v3.0.1; assuming our software was installed properly, the version makes the
    difference.

I still do not see the section BasicDefinitions in my XML file though-- do
not know much about XML files myself, but it seems that so far I have no
problem to convert it to SAS.
Also great thanks to Emeric and Janus and others for taking your time to
    look at my files.
    Minya

    Hi Minya,
There is one later release available 3.0.4.1 released on January 17, 2011.
It is extremely simple to update to the latest version, takes only a few
    minutes.
    Regards
    Krister
