    Re: [Users] mainmenu file dont exist Hi Ricardo,
    For troubleshooting OpenClinica the only needed entries in the datainfo.properties file for OpenClinica to start are the db entries.
    dbType=postgres
    dbUser=clinica
    dbPass=mypass
    db=${WEBAPP.lower}
    dbPort=5432
    dbHost=localhost
    Did you create the database with the name of “openclinica”? If not replace “${WEBAPP.lower}” with whatever your database is named and restart tomcat. What do the logs in tomcat say your issue is? Additionally what version of Postgres are you using?
    Thanks,
    Shaun

  • Hi Ricardo,

    Check if JDK is installed, your database is completely built and your firewall in vista is turned off.

    Hi Ricardo
    Which log file did you checked? Normally catalina* or localhost* should contain some informations about the error.
    Regards,
    Christian

    Do you see anything??
  • Hi Ricardo,

    Is there also an openclinica*.log file in the directory as well? Does that contain any errors?

    Hi, all openclinica*.log files are empty, is it supose to be empty?
    thanks
  • Hi Ricardo,

    You mentioned in a previous email that the 'db seems to be ok' - are there tables in it? That is, did OpenClinica access the database and build out the datamodel for you?
