    Dear Shaun,
How can you tell that Tomcat has finished starting?
    Kind regards,
    Clemens

    Hi All,
Unfortunately what Ricardo mentions is not the best. Service starting
scripts says tomcat is finished starting before it is as the command to
start tomcat has finished executing. This does not mean that tomcat has
started. The way I use is to look for the log entry like "INFO: Server
startup in 41424 ms" in catalina.out. This means tomcat has finished loading
all application and has opened the port.
    Thanks,
    Shaun
