Questionnaire not done

Hi All,

In our upcoming study there are more than 5-6 questionnaires in every patient's visit – all are defined with required fields.
In case a certain questionnaire was not done, the staff is used to cross out the hole paper CRF page and write their name, date and signature.
The problem is that the questionnaire cannot be saved without answering all the required fields?
I know the solution is defining a null value for the eCRF? Is there a more elegant solution that won't require the user to write not done for all the question?

    Hello Liora,

You could also put all items in a non-repeating group and show them only when the indicator-question “Was questionnaire done?” is answered with yes.
Unfortunately you can not as yet Hide the group if the answer is No, see

    Hope this helps a bit,

    Hi Liora

We use the very simple HIDE/SHOW action in 3.1.2 and it works very well. Se below the last few columns in the XEL spread sheet. USDONE is the field name that is answered Yes or No
This works very well and does not need a rule. It does not work for grouped items.
