Anyone interested in a discussion regarding i18n/l10n?
I was wondering if anyone is interested in creating a Forum Category regarding Internationalization/Localization?
For example, OpenClinica is Java, a UTF-8 environment, just like Linux and MacOSX, while Microsoft chose UTF-16LE on post Windows 7 and propriety CP encoding on pre Windows7, which could cause a few issues. We can share tips under Unicode specific category.
It's been on the back burner for a while but it would be nice to get this going again. Hiro, I invited you to join as a maintainer. A few folks (Gerben, Tina, Andreas) are already set up as translators for various languages. Anyone can register and request access - Christian?
Absolutely! We are currently working on a Swedish translation and already have a version where a regular data entry person will see everything in Swedish.

That's a good idea.

I added the i18n / L10n category. Feel free to use this category to organize any discussions surrounding this topic. Thanks!
