Welcome to the OpenClinica.org Developers mailing list!
I am the Senior Project Coordinator for OpenClinica, and have been involved with the project for over three years. No doubt you have already received an introductory email about OpenClinica and its progress since March 2005 from our CEO, Cal Collins. As Cal mentioned, much of the progress we've made has been due to the ideas, testing, and feedback of the community of users and open source developers.
This mailing list in particular is a chance to discuss new features, bugs, and ideas about where OpenClinica can serve you as a product. We would like to see this community grow and drive the product's development in the future releases.
Some of the things we'd like to explore on this list include:
** Widening support for more platforms (Mac, FreeBSD, etc)
** Support for common problems found during installs on Linux or Windows
** New features and packages that could be implemented into OpenClinica
** Discussion of the architecture and packages that OpenClinica currently uses
** Updates to the Developer's section of the OpenClinica.org portal, including added services like the bug tracker, CVS, etc.
We look forward to the continued involvement of the community to shape and direct OpenClinica into the best product it can be. To post a message to all the list members, you can send email to [email protected]
