    You could test the i.e. google search page. It will give you several suggestions if you just enter one character and works regardless of the settings for auto-complete in IE.

    Many other WEB pages works in a similar way

    Ok, that's something different. This is a autocompletion feature from the page (only available when JavaScript is enabled). This is independend from the browser autocompletion.
    To turn this off you have to disallow JavaScript for this page.

    Good to know for an old Clinical Pharmacologist! :). The most important thing is that regardless of any settings it seems that OC 3.2 does the right thing, i.e. disables auto-complete in our settings. I could see that the script that you suggested could become useful in very special applications but not on a general CRF page.
