question on multi-select optin layout in CRF

Hi,
I use OpenCLinica 3.0 with Window 2008 and postgres database 8.4. A multi-select in CRF needs to display in layout as horizontal. The problem is that the item is always displayed in vertical. Is there anyone who uses this function and can change the layout as what you want successful? What should do to make it work as designed?

    Hi Wei,
    The Response Layout of horizontal only supports radio buttons and check
    boxes. It does not support any other kind of Response Type. Please see
    the Instructions tab of the template or the popup message when you click
    on that column in the Items tab.
