Where should filePath point?

In the OpenClinica wiki, the installation instructions say "Update the filePath parameter to the right value." What exactly is the right value? What does filePath refer to, and where should it point?

The file path is for telling the application where can it upload the crfs/files.
If you follow the installation instructions you have an OC installed here:

In this case your filePath should be:
or this is equivalent to that:

    Hope this helps.

The documentation says it should not be reachable by the web server. Does this mean that folder should not be readable/writable by the webserver user? That is, should the user "tomcat" not be able to read or write from the /usr/local/tomcat/openclinica.data?

No, everything under /usr/local/tomcat should be readable/writable by tomcat. When the documentation says it should not be reachable by the webserver it means that it is not a good idea to put openclinica.data under /usr/local/apache/webapps/ (since webapps is your root directory and the content is accessible from a browser)
