    Dear Tom.
It's been a while since my last contact. Just to remind you, I installed OC
on my computer and now I"m trying to install a second user in our office
(but not on the server) in order to demonstrate a site.
Now I find some time to go back to OC. I tried to complete the installation
process again and still have the same problem with Tomcat (attached are the
log files). I still receive the error message I attached below.
    Please help me with that.
I'm looking forward to work with OC (we will start a study soon and I want
to run a pilot on it) but I found the installation process to be too
    exhausted...
    Best regards,
    Shmulik.

I didn't install OC again. I used the same OC files from a month ago with
the files you told me to download.
I don't understand your question regarding the message when I'm logged in.

    Hi Shmulik,

I reviewed the log files, but no errors are being captured here. Are you
installing OC a second time, and if so, did you download those jar files
that I mentioned earlier in the thread for that users' copy of Tomcat 5.5 as
well? Also, are you getting the same error message when you log in?

    Hi Shmulik,

Tell me a little more about your deploy process. Are you trying to upload
the WAR file through a web form? The more practical way of doing this is to
copy the WAR file to Tomcat's WEB-INF folder and run the server then, which
auto-deploys the application. Please provide additional details about what
you are doing and which steps of the install docs are you following which
    lead you to this error.

  • Hi Shmulik,

There is some extra work besides copying the war file to the webapp directory. Please review the install docs included with our latest release (I am attaching them here as well) and start at the step entitled ‘Create Data Folders’ at page 19. This will take you through setting up the app correctly on Windows. Note you will have to modify two text files (OpenClinica.xml and datainfo.properties) before OpenClinica will work for you.

    Hope this helps, Tom
